This is the stove I will be using for cooking and heating Gentoo. It is a Dickinson Pacific. At the moment I have it installed in Kaea.

This is a sample of the timber that Gentoo will be planked with. It is Macrocarpa, which is a cypress, also known as Monterey Cypress.

Most of the port holes will not be opening ones, but I would like to have opening ones in the galley, head and shower. I have four of these ones and will probably use three of them.

I currently have two of these Whale foot pumps. One will be used for fresh water and the other will be used for sea water in the galley.

For the head I chose to go with a Lavac. They are extremely simple, having a Henderson diaphram pump as the only moving part. Lavac's have a reputation for long term reliability and the vacum action macerates every thing as it leaves the bowl without the need for complex equipment. In the meantime this one is installed in Kaea.
